Imported Tibetan Malas
We are proud to now offer imported Malas from the TIBET COLLECTION. The Tibet Collection aims to support the Tibetan Artisan Communities, living in Dharmsala, the seat of H.H. The Dalai Lama. Beautiful and high quality aids for your practice, each strung on a durable nylon coated wire, or stretchy cord. 50% of our proceeds go directly to the Tibet Collection and respective craftspeople. Prices may be slightly higher, in the spirit of "dana" or "giving", in support of the Tibetan Artisans.
Each full mala has the traditional auspicious number of 108 beads, often with various markers and features a lustrous cotton tassel adorning the 'Buddha bead'. Imported Malas do not include a mala pouch, so keep your special mala protected until your next practice session with a lovely, handsewn, silk satin mala pouch, as shown below.
